A Personal Perspective on Tragic Loss and Emotional Healing

Kenneth Johnson's Faith Lost tells the heart wrenching story of three simultaneous deaths within his family and the grief from which he emerged

Lawrenceburg, IN (PRWEB) June 4, 2006 -- The loss of a wife, a son, or a mother-in-law -- expected or otherwise -- can be a devastating blow to any individual. But to experience all three deaths at the same time, without warning, would be unimaginably difficult. Kenneth Johnson, author of Faith Lost, endured just that.

It was an otherwise normal Monday morning, in Miami, Florida, just one day after Easter. Johnson had settled into another day of work in the office, when he received a disturbing phone call informing him that a terrible accident had struck the family, involving his five-month-old son, Matthew, his daughter, Desna, his wife, Margie, and her mother, Martha. Upon arrival at the hospital, he heard the emotionally overwhelming news that only his daughter had survived the tragedy.

The book chronicles the author's experiences during and after the accident, and how he and his daughter made it through the horrendous experience. He details all of the different feelings that engulfed the two of them -- including grief, anger, and depression. While at times he felt like simply giving up, he eventually learned how to continue living his life in their absence.

Dedicated to the memory of Margie, Martha, and Matthew, Faith Lost is a touching work that can help any reader survive a loss in their own life, and regain faith in all that is worth living for.
