Promia Awarded SeaPort Enhanced Contract

Promia is one of the multiple prime contractors who will bid for specific task orders under the contract. The government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued under SeaPort-e. The contract base period is three years with possible extensions for seven additional years.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 4, 2006 -- Promia, Inc., developer of the Intelligent Agent Security Manager (IASM) family of Security Incident Management products, announced it has been awarded a contract in the U.S. Navy SeaPort Enhanced ("SeaPort-e") acquisition program. Promia is one of the multiple prime contractors who will bid for specific task orders under the contract. The government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued unde SeaPort-e. The contract base period is three years with possible extensions for seven additional years. It includes service orders and associated products.    

The Promia subcontractor team in the successful bid include SAIC, Data Access Technologies and Cybrinth LLC.

Through SeaPort-e, the U.S. Navy is awarding indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to 251 contractors that will provide for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command ("NAVSEA"), Naval Air Systems Command ("NAVAIR"), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command ("SPAWAR"), Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the Marine Corps. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va. is the contracting activity (N00178-06-D-4669-N00178-06-D-4919).

The contract scope includes 22 functional service areas. They may be broadly grouped into the following categories:

  • Research and development support
  • System engineering support
  • Supply and logistics support
  • Information systems support
  • Training support
  • Administrative and functional support.
