Princess of Greece's Former Childrenswear Designer Kirby Woodson Launches Exclusive Baby Stationery Collection

With the proliferation of fashionable maternity consumer products, mothers-to-be have become more aware of their appearance and style. In addition to looking fabulous on the street, fashion savvy expecting mothers and their newborn can now look great in print as well. To lead this growing trend, Tiny Prints is proud to present Petite Alma, an exclusive collection of modern birth announcements and baby invitations designed by Princess of Greece’s former childrenswear designer, Kirby Woodson.

(PRWEB) June 10, 2006 -- With the proliferation of fashionable maternity consumer products, mothers-to-be have become more aware of their appearance and style.

The Petite Alma stationery collection covers a variety of special occasions; from baby showers and birth announcements, to christenings and thank you cards. Kirby’s creations particularly stand out from other artists because she manages to blend Paris’ delicacy and New York’s simplicity together in a chic and unique manner. There are over 60 different exclusive patterns to choose from.

Prior to Petite Alma, Kirby was a designer for Baby Gap in New York. She then left her job for Paris to design for French label Bonpoint. It was during this time abroad that Kirby began designing baby announcements and birth invitations on the side. She returned to New York to design a children’s clothing line for Princess Marie Chantal of Greece and continued to pursue her hobby and launched Petite Alma. As for where the name “Petite Alma” came from, the designer gushes, “ The company name comes from my favorite little girl in Paris, Alma. She was our little fit model…adorable.”
