Learn.com®, the global leader in creating and projecting power-on-demand, today announced that a Learn.com competitor SumTotal Systems; NASDAQ: (SUMT) announced it has filed a Shelf Registration Statement for Maximum Aggregate of $75 million.

Sunrise, FL – June 8, 2006 – Learn.com®, the global leader in creating and projecting power-on-demand, today announced that a Learn.com competitor SumTotal Systems; NASDAQ: (SUMT) announced it has filed a Shelf Registration Statement for Maximum Aggregate of $75 Million.

“This further demonstrates that Learn.com’s on-demand model with a solid focus on one core technology and client satisfaction is a winning combination versus the ‘on-delay’ model of Sum Total’s heavily weighted service revenue that ‘leverages’ clients and delays the realization of sustained profitability,” said JW Ray, Chief Operating Officer at Learn.com.

“A combined total of $500 million of capital has been spent; an amalgamation of at least 12 different LMS versions; executive turnover; and a business model that is focused primarily on services and a lower and disproportionate amount of license revenue speaks to the core problems that face this competitor,” explained Ray. “As they try diligently to convince others that their current software is competitive in the e-learning industry they have less than 60 customers on their surviving and current version 7.2.

As they struggle to accelerate organic growth, their CEO on March 31st 2006 stated, ‘During the quarter, we continued to execute on our plan, while leveraging our installed base.’ Learn.com will never ‘leverage’ our clients, but partner with them for success. Our entire company is squarely focused on building and supporting a single learning and performance technology versus a dozen. Our corporate focus has always been building flexible cutting edge technology and client satisfaction which has delivered 2 consecutive years of profitability, organic growth and being recognized as standing alone in Client Loyalty by a leading industry study.”

“It is clear that this competitor is solely focused on revenue at any cost, not client satisfaction and we want to assist those ‘leveraged’ clients that have not been provided a clear upgrade path and the attention they need and deserve,” said Don Cook, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Learn.com. “We are hosting a live webinar on June 29th at 2 PM Eastern for those leveraged and concerned customers so that they may view the LearnCenter Learning and Performance Suite firsthand and hear how Learn.com proposes to partner with them closely to ensure business success without being nickeled and dimed at every turn. We’ll even pay those customers $15,000 to ease the pain of switching.” To register for this event, please click here.
