IAmShaman Shop Provides High-Quality Botanical and Entheogenic Plant Specimens, Incense Products, Extracts, Resins, Seeds, Books and More

If you are interested in exploring the roots of shamanism and entheogen use throughout history, the IAmShaman Shop is a good place to start. The store sells many herbs such as salvia divinorum, kratom, kava, wild dagga, blue lotus, amanita muscaria and lots more.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 10, 2006 -- The IAmShamanShop strives to share the widest variety of high quality botanical specimens for archival, ornamental, herbarium specimen, or as incense components, as well as fresh organic seeds to add to any modern-day Shaman's Garden. They also carry a wide variety of incense and other meditation supplies, while providing a wealth of information regarding traditional uses of sacred plants for all those who share the same love for them as they do. Links to articles, products, and information about ethnobotany, entheogens, and ethnobotanicals are provided for further study and educational purposes.

One happy customer wrote, "Thank you so much! - I am amazed, I placed this order yesterday morning and I already have it. Thank you for the prompt and courteous service. The packaging is quality and I've heard nothing but good things about your store. I plan to use you exclusively from now on, I have tried 5 other online shops for my purchases but none have compared to IAmShaman. Thank you again."

Modern-day spiritual explorers have gravitated towards the word 'entheogen" to describe natural substances which inspire one to experience God. Literally translated, the word means "becoming divine within." The related "ethnobotanical" is a broader term used for plants that possess healing properties such as Kanna or Sceletium tortuosum. Salvia divinorum is both. Perhaps the oldest known entheogen is Amanita muscaria, and a close second is Ayahuasca. Others, such as Hawaiian Baby Woodrose, Morning Glory, Kratom, and Blue Lotus have a more veiled place in Shamanic tradition, but have a deeply-rooted place nonetheless.

IAS has a deep-running passion for Salvia divinorum, so the shop website includes a plethora of information about ska Maria Pastora (salvia), also known as diviner's sage, including a salvia divinorum faq, articles about the Mazatec Indians, the sage genus, growing salvia divinorum, as well as direct links to standardized extract (see: http://www.tryptamind.com) and Salvia dried leaf.

Finally, there are links to the Viking Youth Power Hour Podcast; a weekly-ish show devoted to counterculture, Life, the Universe, and Everything, and a tightly-knit, highly-posted Shamanism forum called the Entheology Forum, that has been called "elitist" by some, but is really a wondrous group of explorers who treat each other as if they were family.
