Worldhotels-The Americas Partners with US Airways’ Travel Award Program; Now Boasts Largest Airline Partner Portfolio of any Independent Hotel Group

WorldHotels, the Americas, the global hotel group for independent hotels and regional hotel brands, announced that it has signed an agreement with US Airways to become a participant in the airline’s Dividend Miles program effective immediately. The company’s portfolio of 16 airline partners is now the largest of any independent hotel group.

(PRWEB) June 20, 2006 -- WorldHotels, the Americas, the global hotel group for independent hotels and regional hotel brands, announced that it has signed an agreement with US Airways to become a participant in the airline’s Dividend Miles program effective immediately. The company’s portfolio of 16 airline partners is now the largest of any independent hotel group.

Guests of WorldHotels, who are also members of the Dividend Miles program, will earn 500 miles per stay. Now through Sept. 30, 2006, these same guests will earn triple mileage points – or 1,500 miles – with a qualifying stay. Guests must provide their program numbers at check-in to receive the miles.

Bringing Unique Hotels and People Together
Dividend Miles is the frequent flyer program of the merged US Airways/America West Airlines network. Program members can earn and redeem miles on the combined US Airways and America West route system and the Star Alliance™ network. Members also earn miles with a variety of travel, retail and financial service partners.

Dividend Miles may be redeemed for flight awards to more than 230 destinations in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. US Airways’ hubs are located in Charlotte, Phoenix and Philadelphia, with secondary hubs or focus cities in Boston, Las Vegas, New York, La Guardia, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. European focus cities include London, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.
   
WorldHotels' portfolio of 16 airline partners now includes Air China, Air France/KLM, Alitalia, American Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Northwest, SN Brussels Airlines, Thai Airways, United Airlines, US Airways and Varig.
