The Pinnacle Group Announces the Microsoft Dynamics Brand

The Pinnacle Group of Indiana, through a partnership with Microsoft, announce the introduction of the Microsoft Dynamics Brand. The new brand will replace Microsoft Business Solutions. Microsoft Dynamics includes solutions for financial, customer relationship and supply-chain management for small and midsize businesses, large organizations and divisions of global enterprises.

South Bend, IN (PRWEB) June 22, 2006 -- The Pinnacle Group of Indiana, through a partnership with Microsoft, announce the introduction of the Microsoft Dynamics Brand. The new brand will replace Microsoft Business Solutions. Microsoft Dynamics includes solutions for financial, customer relationship and supply-chain management for small and midsize businesses, large organizations and divisions of global enterprises.

Microsoft Dynamics will share common client technology that focuses on role-based user experience with a strong integration with Microsoft Office. According to Microsoft, this iterative approach for introducing Microsoft Dynamics into the installed base is what customers are looking for: a staged migration that preserves their existing investments while receiving the benefits from Microsoft's significant investments in research and development. This shift to Microsoft Dynamics effects companies currently running Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Business Solutions – Great Plains, Microsoft Business Solutions – Axapta, Microsoft Business Solutions – Navision and Microsoft Business Solutions – Solomon. Each of these products will be merged into the Microsoft Dynamics brand.

According to Mike Young, Director of Marketing at The Pinnacle Group, “Corporations currently running one of the Microsoft Business Solutions products should not worry about any immediate change to their daily operations using these products, however, they should contact us for an evaluation of their current hardware and software so we can offer a plan with solutions to move them into the most current technology.” Young also said, “we offer the initial evaluation to corporations as a free service.”

Tami Reller, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Business Solutions Group adds, “The huge benefit to customers (in the new Dynamics brand) is that they can run their businesses more effectively with the most modern business applications suite in the industry.” Going forward, Microsoft has also reintroduced a program called Transformational Assurance, this insures corporation’s investments are secure. Reller explained, “The Transformational Assurance benefit of the Enhancement Program is that when customers license Microsoft Business Solutions–Axapta, Microsoft Business Solutions–Great Plains, Microsoft Business Solutions–Navision, Microsoft Business Solutions–Solomon, including the Standard editions, as well as Microsoft CRM, and stay current on the Microsoft Business Solutions Enhancement Program, they will be able to move to the future business application suite without having to reacquire the functionality they already license. That means customers can move to Microsoft Dynamics on their own time.”

The Pinnacle Group is the only firm in the area offering both application and platform solutions using Microsoft Dynamics. Craig Sroda, Partner at The Pinnacle Group, commented, “Our strong relationship with Microsoft as a Gold Partner allows us to be on the cutting edge of product updates, troubleshooting techniques, and development advances. All of this makes us a trusted and valuable asset to our clients.” Reller said, “We can provide our customers with a couple of core differentiators, which are affordability and adaptability, both of which are critical to the success of our customers (businesses).”

“Corporations in Michiana who have had experience with Dynamics product are excited about the ability to share common client technology,” said Young. Microsoft conducted hundreds of interviews with business decision makers and IT decision makers to solicit feedback. The input they received was invaluable; Reller adds “customers responded well globally to the new name because it reflects the needs of businesses like theirs.”
