giving back to the community is a responsibility that we all need to share, and one that I take very seriously. Our firm understands that New York’s Capital Region is a very special place and we all must do whatever we can to keep it strong, vibrant and sustainable.
The Hall of Fame will honor outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the arts, culture and the entertainment industry. Inductees must either have been born in the area, or have at one time resided in New York’s Capital Region.

Some of this year’s inductees include award-winning independent filmmaker John Sayles and actors Kirk Douglas, Monty Woolley and Maureen Stapleton.

The Hall will be located inside Proctors Theater (www.proctors.org) in the heart of downtown Schenectady, NY. Since 1926, historic and world famous Proctor's Theater has presented the very best in entertainment for New York's Capital Region and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This project is part of the second phase of Proctors’ renovation project, and will be completed in the spring of 2007. A grand opening celebration is planned to celebrate the completion of the $25 million dollar expansion project which included the enlargement of the main theatre stage, an expanded arcade area, a new 450 seat IWERKS extreme screen film and multi purpose theater, a new box office, retail space and a dining service area.

Harding who was also appointed to the Hall’s induction committee continues, “Proctors is critical to our local arts, entertainment and cultural education initiatives. Because of this and my strong feelings that we have a responsibility to keep giving back to the community wherever is needed, I couldn’t be more proud of our firm’s support of this worthy institution.”
