Global Groove Musical Festival returns to the Temple Bar with an all new line-up. But don't take my word for it read on.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) June 23, 2006 -- Innovation Entertainment Group presents an evening of Latn-Rock-Soul and Reggae music performed by three amazing groups: Taniq, Global Groove Collective with Kwanza Jones, and Ellipsis:

Taniq (Talent Unique) is a dynamic songwriting/performing duo that has crafted a sound drawing on their roots in Soul, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Jazz, and Funk. To experience Taniq live is an adrenaline rush as they provide energy and inspiration that’s contagious.

[the Human heart, emotions and relationships interest and influence me the most. It is my connection with the human condition that compels me to paint what I see, feel and experience.
Kwanza Jones and the Global Groove Collective provide polyphonic, polyrhythmic harmonies that display the strength and brilliance of unaccompanied voices. The songs to be performed on the evening of the festival were inspired by Kwanza’s climb to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and celebrate the richness and diversity of African, Latin and Western pop cultures. There are no words to describe the innovation in performance by this group as well as its leader.

The music of Ellipsis, like that of Kwanza Jones, is both timeless and universal. Armed with the rhythmic culture of their hometown, New Orleans, the band’s groove and muscle is colored with funk, reggae and rock. On their latest studio release “But A Breath,” the lead vocalist brandishes vocals that many musicians would envy. It combines raw energy and pure passion. And was a favorite among their audiences at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

We are especially happy to have the group Ellipsis on the program because following Hurricane Katrina the band was dispersed across the country for several months. They recently reunited for a tour that includes only one performance in Los Angeles.

In addition, Innovation Entertainment group will present original artwork by Christopher James Taylor from Australia. Christopher says, "[the Human heart, emotions and relationships interest and influence me the most. It is my connection with the human condition that compels me to paint what I see, feel and experience."
