The Stress & Anger Management Institute is proud to present the S.A.M.I. Pillow, an interactive educational tool in stress and anger management education.
(PRWEB) June 23, 2006 -- The Stress and Anger Management Institute (SAMI) is excited to announce its newest product, the SAMI pillow. The SAMI pillow is a unique tool in the field of stress and anger management. It helps adults and adolescents in enhancing emotional intelligence and improving overall communication skills. By flipping the SAMI pillow from one side to the other, the embroidered word keys suggest transforming negative interactions into positive behavior. The pillow comes with an instructional DVD and booklet that explains its uses and applications.
This educational tool is part of the process taught by The Stress and Anger Management Institute. Founded by Anutza Bellissimo, CAMF, the institute is dedicated to improving communication skills as a way to manage stress and anger. SAMI works with individuals, couples or parents in their Beverly Hills and South Bay offices. Working in conjunction with psychologist Catherine Cardinal, Ph.D., also known as the “Self Esteem Doctor”, they offer personally designed classes with the emphasis on communication skills for improving inter-personal relationships or dealing with children. These classes use the SAMI Pillow to teach their methods. The Stress & Anger Management Institute also provides employee training workshops for small businesses or large corporations, and executive coaching designed for physicians, attorneys, law enforcement officers, or other high profile professionals.
With stress being the leading cause of employee absenteeism, these programs are geared to improving inter-office efficiency and overall company productivity. The SAMI program and its unique approach also implements the Anderson & Anderson model used by Sony Pictures in the motion picture Anger Management, starring Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler and Marisa Tomei.
Stress is a constant in all of our lives, and one out of three people are said to have anger management problems. The field of stress and anger management is rapidly growing, as more people are choosing this approach over lengthy and costly traditional therapy.
