Leading crime fiction author joins Poisoned Pen Bookstore owner Barbara Peters to chat live about latest installment of popular trilogy.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 30, 2006 -- Paltalk hosts a live video and voice chat with crime fiction author Douglas Preston to discuss "Book of The Dead," his latest collaboration with Lincoln Child that is currently sitting in the top 5 of the New York Times Best Selling Hardcover Fiction. The final installment of their popular trilogy of novels revolving around FBI agent Aloysius Pendergast and his murderous brother Diogenes, Book of the Dead concludes the series with a story Publishers Weekly recently called a “gripping, action-packed page-turner.” Hosted by Barbara Peters, owner of the Poisoned Pen bookstore, the chat will feature a discussion with the author followed by an opportunity for Paltalk users to pose questions.

Set in the New York Museum of Natural History, "Book of the Dead" continues Preston and Child’s ongoing collaboration of best selling novels weaving together the authors’ backgrounds in museum work and crime fiction writing. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the Poisoned Pen is a leading United States independent bookstore for fiction, especially mystery, and also home to Poisoned Pen Press.
