VisiStat Automates Web Analytics for Resellers and Web Site Providers

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Tracking web-site statistics used to be like counting sheep. Tedious and of questionable value. Now web developers, ISPs, IT resellers and affinity groups can add highly-visual web anlytics that directly impact the business performance of any company's web site.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) June 28, 2006 -- The most robust real-time web analytics suite is now the easiest to install and manage, even across thousands of web sites. VisiStat today introduces its new Express API (application programming interface) which allows web site builders and hosting companies to automate the process of deploying and managing the VisiStat tracking service.

Express API operates on the XML-based SOAP protocol which ensures seamless interoperability across any computing platform.

With the new API, web site providers can now give their customers best-in-class web analytics while reducing the complexity of managing those accounts.

“It’s a lot easier now for providers to bundle VisiStat with their site-building services,” says Stephen Oachs, CEO of VisiStat. “The product itself has always been simple to use, now we’ve made it just as easy to install and manage it across multiple accounts.”

A range of volume-pricing packages are available for resellers at deep discounts. According to Mr. Oachs, the new Express API will be especially useful for resellers who typically manage 100 or more web site projects a year.

“Site developers are looking to differentiate their services,” says Mr. Oachs. “Offering customers real-time analytics is a great way to do that. And it’s something that delivers concrete business benefits to the user.”

When activating VisiStat for a new site, developers license a unique chunk of VisiStat code called a snippet. Each snippet has a unique encrypted identifier that sits inside the site’s HTML, reporting to the user a wealth of business-critical information, such as page popularity, search engine referrals and e-marketing performance. Express API converts the process of obtaining the snippet, inserting into the site, and activating the administrator’s console into a single click of the mouse.
