Dealer principal Accepts Seat at Syracuse Master of Communications Management Program

Hill Motor Company officer offered a seat at premier Syracuse University Newhouse School Independent Study/Distance Education Masters Program

Enterprise, AL (PRWEB) July 3, 2006 -- Hill Motor Company, a female, minority owned and operated pre-owned auto dealership grossing more than 2 million in annual sales, congratulates its vice president in a recent acceptance to the well-known and respected Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Joyce P. Brayboy, also a principal of the company, will begin the Master of Communications Management Independent Study/Distant Education Program, of which only 20 professionals are chosen annually, starting this fall.

Following the week-long residency at Syracuse University, the remainder of her studies during the semester will be conducted right here in Enterprise, AL.

Brayboy said she chose this program not only because it is one of the nations’ best for public relations. Of the top programs, it was the one that offered public relations with a focus on the business aspect, and one that she didn’t have to move away to complete.

“I am exited about the opportunity to work in New York with my colleagues, but I am more exited about what we are doing right here at home.” Brayboy said.

The team has been successful in placing hundreds of customers in vehicles over the last five years. The goal is to become the preeminent pre-owned automobile dealership in Enterprise, while yet expanding that reach to become the leader in sales and customer satisfaction in the state of Alabama, said Eunice M. Hill, President, Hill Motor Company.
Brayboy said, “We provide a family-centered, fun, straight-forward and nonthreatening atmosphere that allow folks to come in and feel comfortable with the car buying process. Our business model is centered on treating people fairly. It’s really that simple.”

“If this degree from Syracuse can help me communicate our vision to the local community, it’s worth every bit of the sacrifice in working to get it,” Brayboy said. “We are here for the long haul to build upon the greatest asset this city has to offer – the people.”
