Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Google provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 97.830, while LookSmart had the worse ranking with 97.309%

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 7, 2006 -- For this report made on Thu, July 6th, 2006, we analyzed Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Akamai, Overstock.com, LookSmart for the entire day of Wed, July 5th, 2006 and have compiled the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;

Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Google provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 97.830, while LookSmart had the worse ranking with 97.309%

Google has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.830%. The websites best response hour was 6pm with minimum/average latencies of 0.050811/0.186180 seconds, and worse hour being 7am with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/5.236557 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.057 with a mean latency of 2.939 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.

Microsoft has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.827%. The websites best response hour was 2pm with minimum/average latencies of 0.010553/1.379292 seconds, and worse hour being 8am with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/6.079297 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.041 with a mean latency of 2.970 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.

Yahoo has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.652%. The websites best response hour was 8am with minimum/average latencies of 0.075087/6.071107 seconds, and worse hour being 11am with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/1.804830 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.103 with a mean latency of 2.963 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.

Akamai has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.394%. The websites best response hour was 3pm with minimum/average latencies of 0.062793/0.456180 seconds, and worse hour being 7am with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/5.596930 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.151 with a mean latency of 2.861 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.

Overstock.com has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.389%. The websites best response hour was 3am with minimum/average latencies of 0.074558/0.773795 seconds, and worse hour being 4pm with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/5.178230 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 2.161 with a mean latency of 2.819 seconds, we consider this very good site delivery consistency for the day.

LookSmart has provided their users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 97.309%. The websites best response hour was 4am with minimum/average latencies of 0.075078/0.948414 seconds, and worse hour being 8am with maximum/average latencies of "totally unreachable"/6.346125 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.502 with a mean latency of 2.905 seconds, we consider this slightly erratic site delivery consistency for the day.
