eBay Entrepreneur Seeks to Join the Ranks of the “One Red Paperclip Man”

Attention Angel Investors, eBay entrepreneur sd_investor2k is looking for you. Just as Kyle MacDonald ( http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com ) announces the completion of his ultimate dream to trade his little red paperclip for a house of his own, Mr. SD is hoping his luck turns out the same.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2006 -- With less than 36 hours to go, SD’s auction to own “picking rights” to his illustrious brain is coming to a rapid close with no bidders in sight. You heard right, sd_investor2k is auctioning off, of all things, his brain.

Now in order to truly appreciate this event one must not only visit his auction on eBay but for a more intimate introduction you should also make a quick stopover at his MySpace profile to get a glimpse of the man behind the idea. http://www.myspace.com/ownmybrain

Please note that the title to this auction is in essence a figure-of-speech and in no way implies that you can take physical possession of said brain for any purposes not mentioned herein or forthwith. Said brain is only available for
Mr. SD describes himself as “a child of the Persuaders and The Merchants of Cool”, a reference to the PBS specials produced by “Frontline”. Among other things, Mr. SD is offering shared rights to several business ventures, working as a public speaker & he seems to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing.

The following excerpt is pulled from the fine print of his auction description.

“Please note that the title to this auction is in essence a figure-of-speech and in no way implies that you can take physical possession of said brain for any purposes not mentioned herein or forthwith. Said brain is only available for “picking”, "collaboration", “business development” & “implementation”. Brain is available for “picking” during normal business hours unless the highest bid is above 100k or otherwise agreed upon in advance. Please note, bids above 250k boarder on my person and will entitle bidder to additional access. Said brain picking will be the sole right of winning bidder and as stated, agreement shall be in force for a period of one year. In addition, winning bidder shall have the right to employ the owner of said brain for any purposes related to the promotion of any existing business's or endeavors currently managed or owned by winning bidder. Additional agreements and/or compensation related to the aforementioned availability may be necessary if winning bid is below 100k for legal purposes pertaining to fair business practices and reasonable expectations. Bla Bla Bla… Bla Bla Bla Bla…”

When asked if Mr. SD was concerned that there have been no bidders he had this to say. “I currently show that there are 7 interested parties watching the bidding process, one has even asked for an interview. Due to the nature of these types of auctions I don’t expect bids to come in until the last minuets or seconds of the auction. I will only be concerned if there are no bidders “after” the close of the auction.”

So whether you’re a seasoned investor or just looking for some short term entertainment you can learn more by going to eBay and typing in the key words: Own My Brain.

Our best wishes go out to Mr. SD and his quest!
