ExperienceLA.com launches its site redesign with more than just a new look-and-feel and new features. Collaborating with a number of its over 1,600 arts and cultural partners, ExperienceLA.com is hosting a “Win a Los Angeles Experience” giveaway with its annual survey. This giveaway features prizes that reflect the diversity of Los Angeles arts and culture including major contributions from the Wilshire Grand Hotel, Center Theatre Group, and ESPN.
Los Angeles, California, (PRWEB) July 12, 2006 -- Celebrating its third year, ExperienceLA.com (http://www.experiencela.com) launches its site redesign with a diverse arts and cultural giveaway. Major prizes include tickets to the X Games Twelve at the Staples Center sponsored by ESPN and a Downtown LA Weekend Getaway sponsored in part by the Downtown Center Business Improvement District with dinner and accommodations from the Wilshire Grand Hotel, tickets to Curtains at the Ahmanson Theatre from Center Theatre Group, and Metro Day Passes.
Additional prizes include tickets to The Music Man at the Alex Theatre, The Actors’ Gang production of Love’s Labor’s Lost, Los Angeles Conservancy Walking Tours, El Dorado Opera’s Hansel & Gretel, pianist Christopher O’Riley in recital at the Ford Amphitheatre, and Kidspace Children’s Museum. The Los Angeles County Arts Commission funded ExperienceLA.com’s redesign. The redesign includes a new look-and-feel and additional features such as customized RSS Calendar feeds and the ability to access information on wireless devices. Other features that will roll out in the near future include event email alerts, a customized e-newsletter, a blog, podcasts, and an itinerary planner. ExperienceLA.com hopes that these new site enhancements and their eclectic launch giveaway prizes will increase the use of public transit and draw more people to explore the arts and culture of Los Angeles.
