Florida employee leasing usage with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) continues record growth pace according to a recent study released by StaffMarket Services. Business owners and managers continued to engage PEOs at a record pace in the first half of 2006.

Bradenton, Florida (PRWEB) July 21, 2006 -- StaffMarket Services released information today indicating a record setting pace for employee leasing growth in Florida. In the first 6 months of 2006 Florida businesses continued to turn to employee leasing arrangements in order to streamline their business and gain improved operating efficiencies.

“We are seeing a substantial increase in the number of Florida companies engaging a PEO” (professional employer organization) noted Jim Hamilton, president of StaffMarket Services. “In previous years a large part of the demand for PEOs was based on easy access to cost competitive workers’ compensation insurance programs. While that advantage still exists, today we are seeing many more companies that want a broad range of the Human Resources services that can be provided”.

In previous years a large part of the demand for PEOs was based on easy access to cost competitive workers’ compensation insurance programs. While that advantage still exists, today we are seeing many more companies that want a broad range of the Human Resources services that can be provided
Since its inception in the 1980s, employee leasing and the PEO industry have grown at over 25% per year and offers businesses four primary service areas:

Florida Payroll Services – All payroll processing and tax administration
Florida Worker’ Compensation Insurance (work comp)
Florida Health Benefits and Administration (Health, Dental, Vision and 401K)
Florida Human Resources regulatory compliance. – including I9, W4 and other federal and state reporting requirements.

Other good news for potential PEO customers is the fact that the number of Peo service providers continues to expand in Florida. “We continue to see new PEOs starting up in Florida and the number of choices for customers gets better all the time” said Hamilton. “Having a number of solid choices for selecting a PEO improves the options for everyone”. With over 600 PEOs operating in the USA, StaffMarket’s proprietary matching process ensures decision makers can quickly narrow down their selection to the top PEO vendors and save time in their PEO search.
