Far*East Movement, a recent breakout in the world of music, has quickly become one of the most sought after unsigned success stories of 2006 with film and video credits as well as nods from the best in the industry.

(PRWEB) July 21, 2006 -- Far*East Movement, a recent breakout in the world of music, has quickly become one of the most sought after unsigned success stories of 2006 with film and video credits as well as nods from the best in the industry.

The first half of this year marked this band's influence in film with their newest release "Round Round" featured in the movie Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, as well as the soundtrack, which sold 20,000 copies in its first week of release. Also, three additional songs were used in the official Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift videogame for PlayStation.

Industry influence has furthered Far*East Movement's recognition. Last month Suchin Park of MTV gave testament to their sound on MTV music show Total Request Live. Veteran DJ Virman of Power 106 was equally impressed with the Movement's momentum and has decided to join the team as their new deejay. Top designer Bobby Hundreds also announced a limited edition cover design of 1,000 for Far*Movement's newest album, "Folk Music".

While some entertainment buffs are hearing their music for the first time, over 100,000 music lovers have streamed Far*East's newest video"Round Round" at a rapid pace via MySpace, Youtube and Livedigital.

Though Far*East Movement's racial makeup is decidedly Asian, their sound style resonates to hip-hop, rock and alternative influences. Their music both defines and transcends their ethnicity, reinforcing their worldwide appeal and performing to packed audiences throughout the United States as well as Asia.

Far*East Movement is managed by Catch Music Group, an entity within entertainment entrepreneur Carl Choi's Plan C Group of companies. Their music can be found at Dope USA. For more information on Far*East Movement, please contact sumsum @ freshchatter.com.
