Echo Malibu Youth Treatment Center Continues Writers and Artists Series with Matt Wheeler of MTV’s PUNK’D

Echo Malibu Teen Treatment Center recently continued their Writers and Artists series with a guest appearance from Matt Wheeler, co-star of MTV’s PUNK’D. The Writers and Artists series is designed to feature successful and sober writers, actors, musicians, artists and others from the entertainment industry who want to share their stories with youth in treatment for chemical dependency, emotional or behavioral disorders.

Malibu, CA (PRWEB) July 25, 2006 -- Echo Malibu Teen Treatment Center’s Writers and Artists series recently featured actor Matt Wheeler, co-star of MTV’s PUNK’D. The agency’s Writers and Artists series is designed to feature successful and sober writers, actors, musicians, artists and others from the entertainment industry who want to share their stories with youth in treatment for chemical dependency, emotional or behavioral disorders.

During his time with the teens Wheeler shared stories regarding his own adolescence and obstacles he faced growing up. In addition, he shared stories about his work on PUNK’D where he Punk’d celebrities such as actor/comedian Bernie Mac, Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White, actress Kristin Cavalleri of the hit show Laguna Beach and Hit Band, Fall All Out Boy.

We have an exciting group of very successful individuals from all areas of the entertainment industry lined up for the future. My hope is that those who share their time and experiences with our youth will find value in the experience and encourage others to participate.
