Parents Rave About Durability of Baby Sherpa--Diaper Backpack Comes Through Amazing Race Like New

Heather Cormley, Travel writer and Mom at About.com recently tested a Baby Sherpa for three weeks in China. The result- what a great backpack for traveling parents. Here is her review and why Baby Sherpa is the leading diaper backpack for traveling and active parents.

(PRWEB) July 27, 2006 -- After seven flights, four kids, two foreign countries and three weeks of travel, not only did the Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack outpack the competition, it crossed the finish line of one family's amazing race just like new.

"It was shoved under van seats, shuffled on dusty boats and crammed full of every baby item you can imagine and it still looked brand new," said Heather Cormley Baby Product reviewer for About.com, a New York Times website. "In fact, by the end of the trip, our Sherpa was carrying everyone's gear, because none of the other travel bags seemed to hold as much while still being comfortable for the wearer." For about $90, the original Baby Sherpa diaper backpack has a roomy top pocket with an extra-wide opening and two dividers, an accessory zipper pocket, removable water bottle holder, key clips, front bungee cord, cooler compartment, removable insulated bottle pocket, oversized changing pad, lug handle and ergonomic shoulder and sternum straps.

For $85, the Short Haul Sherpa diaper backpack is about 3/4 the size of the original bag, and has nearly all of the same features on a slightly smaller scale. Instead of a bungee on the front, the Short Haul has a clip that can hold a rolled blanket or light coat.

Both diaper backpacks are comfortable to carry and roomy enough for gear for at least one baby. The original Baby Sherpa has enough room for the whole family's travel must-haves, and will be useful beyond the baby stage, too.

Summer time is a busy time for families traveling and doing excursions. Baby Sherpa was designed to carry all of their needs in one ergonomic backpack instead of 3 or 4 bags.

“Baby Sherpa is committed to addressing the lifestyle needs of active families,” said Heather Campbell-Dewar, CEO and designer of Baby Sherpa.

The feedback we have received from customers is interesting and rewarding-"Baby Sherpas have travelled the world. We have received letters from parents who have taken them skiing, boating, and on every major airline around the world. They have been at the Great Wall of China, Paris and of course Disney World, to name a few", said Heather. "Having parents tell us that we made their lives and trips easier is why we started Baby Sherpa."
