Executive Coach Takes to Coaching Teens, Saving Lives

Executive Coach Chuck Hawks is saving lives by teaching teens proper driving skills with the Xtreme Measures Teen Driving School. With the help of Hawks, Xtreme Measures is gaining significant recognition for the measurable difference it is making on public roads.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) July 31, 2006 -- Chuck Hawks is an Executive Coach with DreamFulfilled, LLC, a firm dedicated to bringing out the best in businesses and people. Hawks was found recently doing something he truly enjoys: coaching teens to perfect their driving skills. As a principal driving instructor with Xtreme Measures, a teen and new driver school, Chuck has a special affinity for teens. Xtreme Measures (XM) was founded in Atlanta and with the help of Hawks and others, the program expanded into Charlotte, NC in early 2004. Hawks sees further expansion in the near future for the school.

Taking the driver far beyond the typical drivers’ education experience, XM is an immersive training that uses advanced techniques to teach car control, accident avoidance and decision making skills. “There’s nothing like the hands-on experience they get here to imprint the learning for the teen driver…and they have lots of fun,” says Hawks who develops curriculum for the school. “We create simulations that allow drivers to learn in a safe environment. The XM experience fosters ‘muscle memory’ that provides a young driver the skills needed to avoid an accident in the 'real world.'”

Xtreme Measures’ mission is saving lives through educated driving. XM offers training that is unavailable elsewhere and the idea is to create an “XM Generation” of drivers who will ultimately make our public roads a safer place to drive. Parents comment, “This is the best money I’ve ever spent.”; “Their (student’s) driving skills have noticeably improved as a result of this training. Thank you.” Many parents and student graduates feel so strongly about the benefits provided by their XM experience that they now volunteer to work in support roles during Xtreme weekends.

“My personal goal is to eliminate accidents caused by careless or uninformed teen drivers,” says Hawks.
