Introducing a new blended computer photo web site.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 5, 2006 -- A new website, www.computerphotoarts.com, offers eight unique galleries of fine art created on computer by artist/photographer Rick McIntyre using his original photographs.
With over 35 years in the graphic arts, including stints as a production artist, travel photographer, creative director, advertising manager and marketing guru, McIntyre combines an art director’s perspective with a strong emphasis on light, color, texture and mood.
Subjects of the gallery include Antiquities, Botanicals, Color and Design, Buildings, Marine, Metallics, Scenics and a special whimsical gallery titled Situpons featuring a variety of chairs, stools and related subjects photographed in various corners of the world.
A ninth gallery features traditional photography that changes quarterly and is currently devoted to images created on safari in Kenya and Tanzania by McIntyre and his wife Colleen.
According to McIntyre, “Each image starts with a series of carefully composed digital photographs which are than massaged using computer graphics to create a final image that hopefully challenges the viewer’s senses and stimulates the imagination.”
