Mobile Armor’s Data Security Software is Chosen to Protect the Data of Top Civilian and Military Leaders at the U.S. Department of Defense

Mobile Armor’s software provides an added level of security in the event of a lost or stolen device by protecting the device with AES, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)-validated encryption.

Under the terms of the contract, Mobile Armor’s security solutions software meets the rigorous requirements issued by the Department of Defense Directive Number 8100.2. Mobile Armor believes that its ability to provide the only next-generation, complete EMDS software solution was essential to the DOD’s selection of Mobile Armor’s data security software which includes: cross-platform centralized management and reporting under a single console for local and remotely deployed systems; data protection through high-speed, full-device encryption; two-factor authentication at pre-boot allowing the use of the government-mandated Common Access Card (CAC) when authenticating to a device; and the ability to establish secure connection between mobile devices and corporate networks.
