About Author
Thomas Palfy left his native Hungary following the crushing of the 1956 uprising by Soviet troops. He settled in Melbourne, Australia in 1957 and studied industrial chemistry at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. A keen nature lover and amateur photographer, he and his wife, Susan visited many towns and most major National Parks of Australia in the 1980's and 1990's. Many photographs were taken and their experiences were written up as letters to friends. Eventually the book titled Australian Advantures was written. A companion book called Images of Australia was also prepared. These books are available through the Lulu publishing and distribution centre both in English and in Hungarian.
