Fair Wind Sailing School announces the addition of catamaran sailing lessons to its Caribbean sailing program. Fair Wind Sailing School will be the first and only ASA sailing school in the Virgin Islands to offer the opportunity to achieve catamaran sailing certification (ASA 114) in combination with the Instant Bareboater program.

St Thomas, Virgin Islands (PRWEB) August 10, 2006 -- Fair Wind Sailing School – America's Best Sailing School – announces the addition of catamaran sailing lessons to its Caribbean sailing program. Fair Wind Sailing School will be the first and only ASA sailing school in the Virgin Islands to offer the opportunity to achieve catamaran sailing certification (ASA 114) in combination with the Instant Bareboater program. "We are thrilled to be able to offer this option to our students," commented David Bello, President of Fair Wind Sailing Inc. "The catamaran sailing lessons will be fabulous in the Virgin Islands," Bello continued. "Fair Wind is now one of the few schools that offer students the ability to become bareboat charter certified on a catamaran in just one week. This extends our leadership position as the premier sailing school in the Virgin Islands."

Fair Wind will teach the catamaran sailing standard (ASA 114) in combination with its popular Instant Bareboater lessons which provides ASA Certification from beginning through ASA 104, bareboat chartering. The classes will be taught aboard a Leaopard 45, also known as the Moorings 4500 in a one-week, live-board sailing class in St Thomas, USVI. "This is truly a one of kind sailing experience that will be both educational and a lot of fun for our students," Bello added.

The Leopard 45, also known as the Moorings 4500 was specifically designed to be used as a charter vessel and is a past winner of the "Charter Boat of the Year" award. The Leopard 45 is equipped with 4 double berths – each with a private 4 head, air conditioning, microwave oven, generator and numerous upgrades. It also has a large galley, comfortable cockpit and twin engines. Fair Wind will further equip the Leopard 45 with its standard list of cruising equipment and water toys.
