Los Angeles, Ca. (PRWEB) August 11, 2006 -- Travel expert, Adventure Girl, Stefanie Michaels expresses concerns with terror threats globally. Michaels' not only feels that airlines are at threat, but also US railways, and cruise liners.

"I have been concerned with terror plots, not only with the airlines, which we are experiencing currently, but also with cruise ships and our railways. I also feel that with airlines there are too many loop holes in the system, including inefficient screening of travelers, and most importantly airlines ignoring warnings about cargo inspections," says Michaels. "When will we wake up?"

When will we wake up?
Michaels' also queries why it has taken almost four years to secure our borders and insist that all travelers carry a passport. "I have no idea why it has taken our government four years to implement that all travelers in and out of our connecting borders carry passports? It seems as if 911 wasn't "serious" enough for our nation to secure our most vulnerable border entries," Michaels states emphatically. "Time can only tell what damage this has caused to the security of our nation."

Based in Los Angeles, Michaels calls the world her home and states the fact that despite the recent reports on terrorist plans to threaten our skies, she refuses to allow the news to thwart her travels. "Although I am expressing my concerns," says Michaels. "I also believe to show fear and not travel is to have Al Qaeda and other crazy fanatical people 'win,' and I refuse to give them that."
