Actresses Gabrielle Union and Essence Atkins Join Celebrity Line Up for NABB’s Miami International Bikefest 2006

The NABB’s Miami International Bikefest 2006 will be held August 31 – September 3 in Miami, Florida.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) August 14, 2006 -- Actresses Gabrielle Union (Bad Boys 2) and Essence Atkins (Half and Half) will join the all-star celebrity line up for the NABB’s Miami International Bikefest 2006 to be held Labor Day weekend in Miami, Florida.

Presented by the National Association of Black Bikers (NABB), the Miami International Bikefest will be hosted by BET and radio personality Big Tigger and will bring together Hollywood celebrities, entertainers and athletes for the “must-attend” charity event August 31 – September 3, 2006 in Miami.

Joined by TV host Melyssa Ford and R&B Artist Tank, Union and Atkins will support the Miami International Bikefest and the Miami International AIDS Ride; the premier charity event for motorcycle enthusiasts and those attracted to the biking lifestyle. The Miami International Bikefest weekend will be a multi-venue, multi-cultural MEGA motorcycle festival designed to bring together all motorcycle cultures under one umbrella for a weekend of riding, exhibits, give-a-ways, concerts, parties, fashion shows, VIP celebrity events and a host of other activities. The NABB estimates thousands bikers and patrons from around the country will travel to Miami to enjoy a weekend fueled with speed, power, socializing, networking events, and fun in the sun.

A portion of the event proceeds will go towards donations to Big Tigger’s Street Corner Foundation for their work in building public awareness of HIV/AIDS and New Horizons Community Mental Health Center for their work in mental health and substance abuse care. Generous sponsors of the Miami International Bikefest include DaimlerChrysler and Harley Davidson USA.
