Rickshaw Boy, producers of the popular podcast "Radio Rickshaaw" announce two new podcast shows, "the Heart of Darkness Comedy Podcast" and "Toxic Audio Unofficial Podcast" plus continuing episodes of Radio Rickshaw.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 17, 2006 -- Rickshaw Boy recently announced that the company has released two new podcasts. One podcast is called “the Heart of Darkness: Comedy Podcast” and the other is “Toxic Audio Unofficial Podcast”, both produced by Rickshaw Boy and hosted at the website, http://www.rickshawboy.com, current home of the very popular gabfest/podcast, “Radio Rickshaw.”

“the Heart of Darkness” podcast consists of comedians who record their inner thoughts as they run around day to day. This group of comedians is headed by Orlando native, Greg Barris who now resides full time in New York City. The Heart of Darkness troupe travels all over the United States performing stand-up for sold out crowds in large cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Orlando. The podcast offers a unique insight into the comedic mind.

the Heart of Darkness Comedy Podcast
The “Toxic Audio Unofficial Podcast” features live recordings and improvised musical numbers by the very popular acappella group, Toxic Audio. Toxic Audio is a theatrical acappella group that uses only the human voice to create a myriad of sound effects and songs for their award wining shows. This podcast is brought to you by “the Sound Guy” who leaves you with tidbits of information about the group, before playing a bootleg-style song.

The flagship podcast of Rickshaw Boy is of course “Radio Rickshaw”, which is still going strong after 21 episodes. Radio Rickshaw is an online radio talk show discussing art, theater, music, beer and more in a fresh, fun way that’s easy to relate to. Local artists and theatres have turned to Radio Rickshaw to get the word out for their various productions. Some notable guests include: Orlando Fringe Festival producer Beth Marshall, Sak Comedy Lab for their production of “FourPlay: the Improvised Musical” and even Terry Olson of the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission. All of these guests have recognized and appreciated the style in which Radio Rickshaw presents theatre and music: a style that is laid back and un-pretentious.

To compliment the networked feeling of these very different programs, the Rickshaw Boy website has been completely overhauled. Each show has its own guestbook to leave comments, and each show has its own page, where a listener can stream the show directly from the web. Other options for listening include iTunes, Odeo, Podcast Alley and many other forms of podcast software.

There are many ways to experience these very fun shows:

There’s the website, http://www.radiorickshaw.com,
there’s a MySpace page at www.myspace.com/rickshaw_boy,
and there’s even a voice mail where Dofo and JohnV encourage callers to leave their thoughts and feelings, related to the show or not. That number is (407) 965-2939.

Radio Rickshaw, the Heart of Darkness Podcast and the Toxic Audio Unofficial Podcast are productions of Rickshaw Boy a subsidiary of this i dig, inc.
