DCE Championship Goes Mobile

In association with the TM4B Bulk SMS Gateway, Drum Corps Europe (DCE) is adding mobile communications to the 2006 European Drum Corps Championships.

Oost-Souburg, The Netherlands (PRWEB) August 17, 2006 -- Drum Corps Europe (DCE) has announced that, in partnership with the TM4B Bulk SMS Gateway, it will be spicing up this year's 2006 European Drum Corps Championships by adding mobile messaging to its program.

Each year, Drum Corps Europe organises the DCE European Championships, the largest drum corps event in Europe with corps from various countries competing in three different classes for the title of 'European Champion'. This year, however, a new service is being added through which the audience, participants and DCE members will receive real-time scores through their mobile phones.

We're very happy that we are now able to offer this service. Real-time communication with an audience that has come from all over Europe in addition to members that also extend throughout Europe is not an easy task and our basic need has been a service provider that combines reliability with affordability.
Commenting on the launch of the service, Marco Janssen of Drum Corps Europe said, "We're very happy that we are now able to offer this service. Real-time communication with an audience that has come from all over Europe in addition to members that also extend throughout Europe is not an easy task and our basic need has been a service provider that combines reliability with affordability."

"Having spent much time researching and testing numerous service providers, we feel very happy in our selection of the TM4B Bulk SMS Gateway and are confident that we've made the right choice in every respect."

The DCE European Championships 2006 will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, in The Netherlands' Sparta Rotterdam stadium and will have corps participating from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Belgium.
