PayByCash has become one of the first major alternate payment options providers to roll out gateway services for Google Checkout. This payment option will give PayByCash’s merchant clients the option of extending yet another fast, secure way for their customers to pay.

Charlottesville, VA (PRWEB) August 21, 2006 -– Today PayByCash (Internet Payment Solutions, Inc.) has become one of the first major alternate payment options providers to roll out gateway services for Google Checkout. This payment option will give PayByCash’s merchant clients the option of extending yet another fast, secure way for their customers to pay.

Google Checkout is a safe way to pay via credit card. It’s increasingly common for consumers to feel wary about giving their credit card information to online merchants. The addition of Google Checkout to PayByCash’s suite of more than 40 non-credit-card payment options provides Web merchants with a powerful way to extend a credit-card payment alternative to hesitant customers. Neither PayByCash nor the merchant ever see the customer’s credit card number.

Extending Options To Consumers Maximizes Revenues

Kevin Higgins, PayByCash’s President and CEO, observes, “Over the years, PayByCash has built a cache of trust with its customers, many of whom use PayByCash on an ongoing basis across a range of different merchants. Remarkably, we’ve been seeing increasing requests from customers indicating a desire to pay via credit card thru our PayByCash service. With our Google Checkout integration, we can enable our merchant clients to parlay that consumer trust in Google to improved customer conversions.”

Merchants will also benefit from the evolution of Google Checkout’s fraud protections, which are certain to be more robust than most merchants’ internal capabilities. This may enable PayByCash merchants to begin accepting credit card payments from regions of the world they’re currently unwilling to service due to historical fraud levels.

About PayByCash

PayByCash bridges the gulf between merchants seeking to take advantage of the Internet’s global reach and consumers who want or need to pay without a credit card. PayByCash is the straightforward way to reach credit constrained customers and those in the many areas of the world where credit cards are not widely used online.

PayByCash has been empowering non-credit-card customers and the Internet businesses that want to reach those customers since 1998. PayByCash’s unique service is a critical component in any Web content provider’s strategy to reach demographics that do not have ready access to credit cards.
