San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2006 -- San Francisco Bay Area's 15th Annual Gay Rodeo & Festival--the Best Buck in the Bay--is excited to announce that the world-renowed recording artist Scooter Lee will be headlining this year's Buckin Ball on Saturday, September 16th at the Cathedral Hill Hotel (1101 Van Ness Ave.) in the heart of San Francisco.

Scooter Lee is considered one of the hardest working acts in Country Music today. Touring 200 days a year, she commands the stage each time she walks on and will take your breath away with the fine-tuned precision of her vocals. Known for a multitude of enormously popular country dance songs including “Dizzy” and “Roll Back the Rug,” Scooter has become the world’s leading artist of recorded country and pop dance music. The tremendous success of three of her albums, “High Test Love,” “Moving On Up,” and “Would You Consider” found her on the Country Music charts in the UK, Europe, and Australia. She has gone on to release three compilations of “straight ahead dance music” that have become some of the biggest selling country dance CD’s in the world.

"We're thrilled to be able to bring first-class entertainment to this year's Buckin' Ball," said Douglas Graff, Rodeo Event Director for this year's Best Buck in the Bay. "Our Saturday night party is always one of the biggest country-western dance events for the LGBT community in the Bay Area, and now, with headline entertainment like Scooter, it's just gotten bigger!"
