Goozex – Used Video Games Find More Replay Value

A new internet service, Goozex.com, connects users across the U.S. and allows them to trade video games. It is a peer-to-multi-peer trading platform that uses an innovative point system to give fair market prices to both the buyer and seller in the trading transaction.

College Park, MD (PRWEB) August 30, 2006 -- Goozex, Inc. continues to provide its customers a renewed life and value for their used video game inventories. Goozex members, some of whom have long strayed away from the hassles of online auctioneers and unfair valuations at trade-in retailers, are trading heavily on the company’s online platform. Traded games are given values in the form of online Goozex points that accurately reflect the used video game market.

The point system that Goozex developed is designed to give a fair market value to maximize a user’s home library of video games. The points are heavily dependent on real-time data gathered from strategic sources and partnerships on the internet. Furthermore, the dynamic point system is a cornerstone in the value proposition Goozex gives its customers. The points range from 100 to 1,000 in increments of 50, and 100 points equal $5 in resale values at most retailers. “Our system is designed to give one of our members the incentive to trade in his Halo 2 so that he can get another game of equal value,” said Valerio Zanini, CEO of Goozex. Mr. Zanini continued by saying that “we want our members, as both senders and receivers, to trust that they are getting a fair trade. Unlike other services, our members do not have to negotiate prices or place bids hoping that they’re not out bid at the last moment.”

Goozex members acquire points for games they trade and send to other members. Those points are then used to acquire other games from other users that they are matched with across America. Furthermore, customers only pay $1 per transaction giving them virtually the best value for their used game. Customers can literally replace their entire video game library of conquered games for only a few dollars. As the system and user base grows, so will the library of games available to trade. Entering into its second month of operation, Goozex has experienced dramatic customer growth rates that increase each day.
