TalkShoe announces TalkShoe Cash program to pay people to create podcasts, and refer other hosts. Users are paid for creating podcasts as well as for the number of people who listen to, download, or subscribe to their podcast. In addition, people are paid to refer hosts, based upon a percentage of the earnings of the referred hosts.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 31, 2006 -- TalkShoe (www.talkshoe.com), a unique website for user-generated live and recorded podcasting, today announced its TalkShoe Cash™ program which pays people to host podcasts, and to refer hosts. Users are paid for creating podcasts (called Talkcasts™), as well as for the number of people who listen to, download, or subscribe to their Talkcasts. In addition, people are paid to refer hosts, based upon a percentage of the earnings of the referred hosts.

Hosts can easily create Talkcasts using the TalkShoe website. Audio is created using a telephone, cell phone, voice-over-IP (VoIP), Skype, or previously-recorded content. TalkShoe also offers the unique ability for interactive live podcasting, where hundreds of talkers and thousands of listeners can join a Talkcast. Members can also record traditional “solo” podcasts.

TalkShoe Cash Program
Hosts are paid $5.00 for each Talkcast episode created (up to 10 episodes) plus $1.00 for every 25 hours of content consumed, which is the number of content-hours listened to, downloaded, or subscribed to as a podcast. People who refer hosts are paid 25% of the host’s earnings.
Recorded Talkcasts are stored on the TalkShoe website. Hosts also have the option of listing their Talkcasts on iTunes and other podcast directories.

Sharing the Wealth
“One of the goals of TalkShoe is to create an entrepreneurial environment where hosts can earn money for their efforts,” commented Dave Nelsen, TalkShoe’s CEO and founder. “We’re sharing-the-wealth with the core members of our service.”
TalkShoe makes its money from audio advertising placed in the Talkcasts. In addition, in the future, hosts will be able to specifically charge a fee for the premium content.

Who Can Use TalkShoe
Since TalkShoe’s inception, many types of people have used the service including amateur podcasters, business people, religious leaders, sports enthusiasts, and professional radio talk show hosts.
