Crown Works, a Certified Dental Laboratory, Offers Cosmetic Dentistry Using the Latest in CAD/CAM Scanning Equipment

Crown Works Dental Laboratory, an Oregon based dental lab, recently invested in one of the latest in CAD/CAM scanning equipment, the Procera Forte, offered by NobelBiocare. With this purchase, Crown Works continues their commitment to high quality cosmetic dentistry.

Oakland, OR August 31, 2006 -- Crown Works Dental Laboratory, an Oakland, Oregon based certified dental lab, recently invested in one of the latest in CAD/CAM scanning equipment, the Procera Forte, offered by NobelBiocare. With this purchase, Crown Works continues their commitment to high quality cosmetic dentistry.

The lab has been scanning model work for dentists in our local Oregon area, as well as throughout the United States, on an earlier model scanner with excellent results. These scans are sent via the internet to a NobelBiocare milling center in New Jersey, where solid all ceramic crown and bridge understructures are milled. When the completed understructure is delivered to Crown Works, their Certified Dental Technicians complete the process by adding the porcelain. The shades and shapes are dictated by the dentist and the adjacent teeth in the model.

As a Certified Dental Laboratory owner, Rodney Grizzard is pleased to be offering the NobelBiocare understructures. “NobelBiocare stands behind their products. They are a superb company with a long history of high-quality, esthetically superior standards that matches our focus. We are now gearing up to use the new scanner to its full potential. You may have seen some of the recent NobelBiocare commercials or the segment on Good Morning America concerning teeth-in-an-hour.

Basically this refers to dental implants that allow the dentist to place the implants and the crown all in one visit, eliminating the need for a dental bridge and the lengthy temporary crown period that has been the status quo since implants have been around”.
