In order to reach the rapidly growing services market in Asia-Pacific, Atlanta-based Project Management Leadership Group (PMLG) announces its expansion into the region. Asia-Pac growth will be anchored by the Singapore HQ. A Certified Project Management Boot Camp will be held in Singapore and Sydney in November and open to public registration. (PRWEB) September 7, 2006 -- Project Management Leadership Group (PMLG) founder and CEO, Bill Stewart, announced today that his company plans to expand into Asia-Pacific. Regional growth will be anchored by PMLG’s headquarters in Singapore, and supported by staff and training professionals in several area markets. The company also announced that its acclaimed Certified Project Management Boot Camp will be held for the first time and open to public registration in Asia-Pacific - in Singapore and Sydney, Australia in November.
“The entire Asia-Pacific region is seeing explosive economic growth,” stated CEO Bill Stewart. “PMLG’s first efforts in Asia and Australia were on behalf of our global clients. We are now reaching out to the larger business communities. The service industry, in particular, is enjoying impressive expansion – and those companies, along with their manufacturing counterparts, have rapidly come to understand the value that superior project management training can bring to their organizations.”
Mr. Stewart also announced that PMLG’s Boot Camp will be held November 5 – 10 in Singapore and November 12 – 17 in Sydney. PMLG’s Boot Camp is an immersive, 5-day training program designed expressly to enable an organization to rapidly move into a culture of disciplined planning and execution. This hands-on approach has proven more effective at helping organizations successfully manage their strategic planning, than theory-based training, which often ignores the intricacies of unique companies or business groups. These celebrating training programs are also being publicized in the September 18 issue of Forbes Asia – coinciding with the Forbes Global CEO Conference.
PMLG makes a marked departure from theoretical training, by having trainees form into teams and assigned an actual business-critical project on which to work throughout the week. Teams have an ongoing opportunity to strengthen their communications, collaboration, problem solving and individual leadership skills. Trainees learn how to accurately gather requirements for any task, rapidly develop accurate and detailed project plans and schedules, conduct risk assessments and develop risk plans, control and close out projects. Upon completion, trainees will achieve Certified Project Management recognition – and be able to help their teams and organizations be more nimble, resilient, and goal-oriented.
“PMLG has seen its revenue and employee base double year-over-year,” Mr. Stewart further explained. “We are fully confident that we will continue this remarkable rate of expansion as we serve new clients and industries throughout Asia-Pacific. PMLG’s training is a proven way to enhance a company’s business and bottom line. We are looking forward to continuing to serve Asia’s most dynamic companies.”
