NFL running Great Ahman Green Partners with Florida-Based Entrepreneur to Form Xoom Entertainment Inc

Production company will focus on feature film development, music recording and entertainment/retail ventures.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 8, 2006 -- National Football League superstar Ahman Green has joined with Florida-based sports memorabilia entrepreneur Mustafa Saied to create Xoom Entertainment Inc., an entertainment production company that will focus on a slate of projects including feature films and music recording.

“I’ve always had a passion for the entertainment industry and I want to be a part of it,” said Green, a 9-year veteran entering his sixth season with the Green Bay Packers.

“I think I can bring talent to the table, whether it’s acting or serving in an organizational role trying to bring projects together,” Green added. “Xoom Entertainment is going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

In June, Green filmed a cameo role in the upcoming production of Big Stan, a comedy starring – and directed by – Rob Schneider. Green plays the role of Diamond King, a role for which he auditioned and won. The movie is scheduled for release in 2007.

Green’s partner in Xoom Entertainment is Mustafa Saied, of Miami Lakes, Florida who is the founder of Xoom Enterprises, a producer of licensed sports memorabilia products. Xoom markets its products via retailers in select markets and via its company Web site at www.xoomlens.com. Saied will serve as chief executive officer of Xoom Entertainment.

The company’s offices will be based in Orlando, Florida in the back lot of Universal Studios Florida.

Saied said Xoom is set to make a major announcement in the coming weeks regarding the company’s inaugural projects.
