The single-column machine, called the ADMET eXpert 5601QP, accepts standard fixturing and has a load capacity of 500N (100 lb).
Many specialized applications, especially product testing, require faster than typical 25” per minute speeds for tensile, bend and torsion testing. For instance, one ADMET client is using the 5601QP to measure the adhesion of healthcare-related products through simulated peel tests.
The eXpert 5601QP is equipped with ADMET’s eP Digital Controller which accurately controls crosshead rates, and calculates peak load, peak stress, average load, minimum load, as well as deflection and stiffness values. Up to 200 test results can be stored in the controller and/or exported to a Windows-based computer via the RS232 port.
