American Artist Lore Eckelberry Explores Strong Emotion on Canvas

Artist Lore Eckelberry’s show currently on view at Infusion Gallery is portraying the world of human emotion through Anime art.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2006 -- American contemporary artist Lore Eckelberry has been able to isolate and capture emotional expressions from the famous Japanese Art known as Anime. Her work can be viewed on her website: www.artistlore.com

Artist Lore Eckelberry says: “My goal as an artist is to achieve a very strong communication between my art and the observer; to communicate strong emotions through the strength of color. I want my art work to talk by itself. I wish to transport the observer into another world, a world of aesthetics and beauty; a world where you feel strong and where you know that your own opinion counts. And therefore you feel the complete certainty that is ok to be you, a world of your own.”

Walking into the show at Infusion Gallery one is awed by the strength of the images and the energy of the colors, by the impressive size in which Lore Eckelberry has translated little tiny images from one inch square into a larger than life 60” X 48” Acrylic Gouache on canvas. You can see the precision with which Lore Eckelberry uses her brush to created perfectly contoured lines on the canvas.

Lore Eckelberry has been inspired by the wonderful art of Japan. With this inspiration she has been able to express strong emotion through her amazing ability to create composition and color.
