(PRWEB) September 13, 2006 -- METTLER TOLEDO is excited to introduce the newly upgraded HR83 moisture analyzer with advanced readability. With a readability of 0.001%, password protection and traceable sample identification, the new HR83 moisture analyzer offers secure and documented results -- for full regulatory compliance. The unique feature AutoMet substantially accelerates method development and in combination with LabX Direct Moisture software, productivity and data security become second-to-none.

The new HR83 moisture analyzer with 0.1mg resolution is ideal for the analysis of samples with very low moisture content. Also, customers wishing to change from the tedious drying oven method requiring analytical balances with 0.1mg resolution, to a more efficient approach now find the perfect resolution in the moisture analyzer.

The HR83 features the powerful method development, AutoMet, that can reduce method development time by up to 50%. In addition, unique quality management tools guarantee full compliance in regulated environments. These include temperature calibration at the actual measurement temperature, an instrument check with a clear “pass/fail” statement, password protection and up to four comment lines per sample (e.g. lot or batch numbers).

LabX Direct Moisture Software

In addition to the advanced features of the HR83, the new LabX Direct Moisture Software optimally supports the use of METTLER TOLEDO moisture analyzers. It allows the transfer of measurement data onto a PC for more efficiency and data security, including automatic visualization of the drying curves. All of the method development tools of the HR83 are fully supported. LabX Direct Moisture is very intuitive and user-friendly.
