Lois Banks, author and founder of Uniquely Reading Publishing, wrote Learn Your ABC's God's Way to teach children that all are beautiful in God's eyes. According to Banks: "For some time, as I watched and read the daily news reports, I was deeply troubled by all of the pain and suffering that was caused by racial, sectarian, and ethnic hatred. I prayed to find a way to remind people that God loves all of His Creation.

Learn Your ABC's God's Way is a colorful, simple book for preschoolers. Each page of the book features a different letter of the alphabet represented in a brief teaching or reminder. The letter T, for example, encourages children to "Trust in God with all your heart," while the letter N reminds them that "Nothing can separate us from the love of God." Beautifully illustrated by Hazel Mitchell, the images in the book represent people of all skin colors and cultures, from all over the world.

Lois Banks was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and currently lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband, Joseph Banks. Their family includes 4 children, 1 daughter and son-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. A 1994 graduate of the JTPA School of Practical Nursing, Lois currently works as a practical nurse, providing nutritional information to the church and her community as well as patient care.
