The Closet, the world's first Black gay DVD drama series, will be released as a seven hour 'Platinum Edition' on October 6, 2006.
Atlanta (PRWEB) September 19, 2006 -- In the past, “the closet” was used to reference hush-hush type activities. It’s now also the title of one of the hottest DVD-drama series in the nation, The Closet. With several upscale Atlanta businessmen, a syndicated radio announcer and yes, a popular preacher as its main cast, The Closet addresses taboo relationship issues indigenous to all, heterosexual and homosexual.
Not only will the creators of this cutting-edge series, Maurice Townes & Kevin F. Allen of Senwot Nella Productions, provide its open-minded adult audience topics dealt with on a daily basis, they also reflect how others address these life situations to make a difference in their lives.
On the set of The Closet, we were able to track down Townes, who is directing this saga, accompanied by Allen, the co-creator. Townes stated, “The Closet is a self-contained world of romance, intrigue, suspense, passion and much more packed inside the newly re-edited and re-mastered seven hour box set.”
Allen agreed adding, “Our goal is to give ‘up close and in your face’, jaw dropping, provocative action that is realistic; action that could and would happen in everyday life.”
This "must have" platinum edition will be released on October 6, 2006. Visit the website, view the trailer and order The Closet at www.thecloset.tv. This box set includes the pilot, episodes 1 & 2, an electronic press kit, music videos and interviews with the Director, Screenwriters and Actors. Also included are sizzling behind the scenes footage and bloopers never before seen by even the actors.
