Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 21, 2006 -- Hard Rock Band " i " is in the studio with producer Anthony J. Resta and engineer Karyadi Sutjeda producing their second album. The production/engineering team has collaborated with musicians Elton John, Megadeth, Collective Soul, and Perry Ferrell.
"I like working with this band. I'm a fan of their music. They have the most unique and original material in their genre." producer Resta says.
'i' derives their musical inspiration from their life experiences. Pioneering their own hybrid sound and combining influences as diverse as Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin, Bad Brains, Disturbed, Kings X, Queen, and Tool, every member of this unit brings their own flavor and unique voice to 'i'.
'i' has shared the stage with such acts as Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Shine Down, and Theory of a Deadman to name a few.
Dave Draiman and Dan Donegan of Disturbed, stated "their CD jumped out at us, We heard something very unique about it and wanted to see them live so we extended an invitation for 'i' to open the Boston show." After i's live performance Dan and Dave commented on how "tight the band is" and that "the caliber of musicianship is top notch."
