Tapping into Bangalore's culture of innovation and well of talent, Mr. Mani is building Visible Path's Bangalore team to partner with the company's Calif. team in developing next-generation social networking services for managing individual and corporate relationship capital.
Mr. Mani brings to Visible Path 14 years of experience and a focus on scaling global engineering teams. Prior to Visible Path, Mani spent six years at Oracle Corp., most recently as group manager for Oracle CRM product development in India. Prior to Oracle, he managed staff and international development projects for MRL Pharmaceutical Services in Herndon, Va. and developed ecommerce systems for the Society for Human Resources Management in Alexandria, Va. Mr. Mani has an MS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va., and a BS in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University, India.
Visible Path's Bangalore operation is in a newly-constructed building near Bannerghatta Road, a district that also houses major multinationals including Accenture, IBM, Honeywell International and Oracle Corp.
Under Mr. Mani's direction, the Bangalore team has grown to 17 highly experienced professionals. Many came to Visible Path from positions with large companies, attracted by an entrepreneurial opportunity in the burgeoning social networking industry with a company backed by venture capitalists including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Menlo Ventures and Integral Capital Partners.
