ORLEANS, Cape Cod, Massachusetts (PRWEB) September 29, 2006 -- WELSTAR will be opening it’s doors for their first Spiritual Cinema Night of the year. Travellers and Magicians, a feature length film (108 min) directed by Khyentse Norbu and Mrs. Paruzel, a film short (12 min) directed by Annika Glac are slated for this enlightening event.
Travellers and Magicians is a visually stunning film that leads viewers through a spiritual journey through the Tibetan countryside, using storytelling technique to ring new light to life’s journeys. While Mrs. Paruzel prompts viewers to puzzle over what they would do if they died in an awkward and somewhat compromising position.
WELSTAR owner, Mahara Ashlie’s commitment to bringing “total wellness” to the community shows through the services she offers at the day spa, as well as the quarterly Art Shows and monthly Spiritual Cinema Nights. “Spiritual Cinema is a wonderful thing. It allows film makers and audiences to share an experience that typical Hollywood film makers don’t appropriate budgets for.” Mahara feels so strongly about bringing Spiritual Cinema Night to the public that she only asks for a small admission fee to cover the expense of hosting the event. “My intent here is not to make money, but instead bring cinematic art to audiences that may not even be aware it exists.” Popcorn and other refreshments will be available for purchase at this event. Space is limited so RSVP in advance. Complete movie synopsis available at www.WELSTAR.net
