CBT Nuggets (http://www.cbtnuggets.com) has released a new series of training videos that teaches how to use Microsoft Windows SQL Server 2005 on the job, plus maps to exam objectives for Microsoft exam 70-431--Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Implementation and Maintenance--for Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) certification.

Eugene, OR (PRWeb) January 3, 2007 -- CBT Nuggets (http://www.cbtnuggets.com) has released new training videos on Microsoft Windows SQL Server 2005. SQL Server 2005 is Microsoft's latest relational database server, offering increased speed and enhanced productivity features for database administrators and application developers.

The CBT Nuggets videos give students 15 hours of classroom-like training on how to deploy and manage SQL Server 2005. While concepts and theory are discussed as needed, there is heavy emphasis on how to use SQL Server 2005 on the job. This makes the training excellent for use as an ongoing resource as well as a one-time training course.

Dan Charbonneau, CEO and founder of CBT Nuggets, explained why this training is important, "There are a number of things Microsoft has done with SQL Server 2005 that make it a real contender on the relational database market. But with these changes, there's also a lot to learn. With this series we've been able to put together some great training on what's new, what's different, and what's useful in SQL Server 2005. I'm convinced that anyone using or thinking about using SQL Server 2005 will find these videos to be a helpful resource."

The videos also map to Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) exam 70-431, covering how to implement and maintain SQL Server 2005. By passing this exam, an IT professional becomes certified as a Technical Specialist on SQL Server 2005.

The subjects in Exam-Pack 70-431: SQL Server 2005 Implementation and Maintenance are covered in short, 15-30 minute video 'nuggets,' so that the information is easily digestible and can quickly be put to use.

Sample videos from the SQL Server 2005 series are available for viewing on the CBT Nuggets website, providing examples of the quality of instruction and format of the training.

CBT Nuggets also provides comprehensive training for certification exams from Microsoft®, CompTIA®, Cisco® and Citrix®, plus many other professional certification vendors. The training is designed to offer technical accuracy in conjunction with real-world analogies to promote understanding for beginners and experts alike.

CBT Nuggets is the leader in video-based IT certification training. Based in Eugene, Oregon, the company was founded in 1999 and is committed to providing quality educational training videos to the information technology industry. For more information, visit www.cbtnuggets.com/PRSQL.
