Boulder, CO (PRWeb) January 4, 2007 -- It's unfortunate but true. When it comes to communicating with women, men in our society have not been raised or educated well.

Relationship expert and John Gray protégé, Janice Hoffman has created a unique relationship system offering men a new way to get what they want and need out of a relationship, while giving in to their mate's wants and needs.

This easy-to-understand guidebook that will help couples live the dream of keeping their love alive.
Hoffman's book Relationship Rules: 12 Strategies for Creating a Love That Lasts (Venus Publishing / January 2007), is an easy-to-use handbook that goes beyond explaining the differences between the sexes.

According to Hoffman, "Men need a real basic education in what women value and what they need. Then they need to learn how to use this information to get what they want."

Hoffman has taken a revolutionary approach to the traditional model of male-female relationships. She has developed 12 rules that address the critical issues most couples face in relationships. She incorporates strategies---one for men and one for women---that create lasting love and attraction.

"Although relationships and gender roles have changed dramatically in the last 20 years, one thing has remained constant -- the communication differences between men and women," Hoffman says.

Relationship Rules provides specific techniques for couples to navigate their way to lasting love. Here is a short sampling of her tactics:

Rule #4: Appreciate your partner for his or her efforts, big and small. Men are motivated by being appreciated; women are motivated by acts of caring.

Rule #5: Know how men and women keep score in relationships. Women give points for what men do, say, and give; while men give women big points for being let off the hook and for being appreciated.

Rule #9: Be aware of how you spend your sexual energy. How you behave around the opposite sex will have an effect on how you relate to your partner.
