Nosebleed Prevention Now Available without Prescription

NoBleed, an all-natural product developed by Gage Phytolaboratories, works to prevent recurrent nosebleeds without the need for a prescription.

Tulsa, OK (PRWeb) January 10, 2007 -- Gage Phytolaboratories, a developer of herbal pharmaceuticals, has released a product for the prevention of nosebleeds, NoBleed. NoBleed is an estrogen-free, all-natural product developed by Bruce Hudkins, MD, a board-certified ENT physician.

Nosebleeds may be an annoyance for most people, but the condition can be deadly serious for some individuals. Nosebleeds present a potentially dangerous complication for people suffering from hereditary hemmorhagic telangiectasia (HHT).

I developed NoBleed to address one of the more distressing problems in my practice, recurrent nosebleeds
"One of the hallmarks of this disease (HHT) is chronic, disabling, and potentially dangerous nosebleeds," said Hudkins, "Almost all of our customers with this problem have reported back that their nosebleeds have been dramatically reduced and they are thrilled with our product."

Other treatments, like estrogen cream, focus on treatment after a nosebleed begins. NoBleed works to prevent nosebleeds altogether. Although it is created in an FDA monitored facility, it is also available over the counter, unlike estrogen cream which requires a prescription.

"I developed NoBleed to address one of the more distressing problems in my practice, recurrent nosebleeds," said Hudkins, "I wanted an alternative to the estrogen cream I was using on my patients with this problem that was safe, all natural, over-the-counter, less expensive, and, importantly, highly effective. My research lead to the development of NoBleed. It works with both serious nosebleed patients, such as those who have HHT, and more routine recurrent nosebleed patients, those who have 6 or 7 episodes a year."

NoBleed works to stop a nosebleed by using the isoflavones found in soybeans to stimulate the estrogen receptors, which stimulate epithelial growth. It preferentially stimulates this specific receptor, unlike estrogen cream, which stimulates all estrogen receptors.
