Reinventing the retail operating model through cross channel optimization.

Montreal, QC (PRWeb) January 10, 2007 -- iCongo Inc., a North American leader in e-commerce solutions, announced today that it has released its In-Store Channel Optimization Commerce Suite as an extension of the iCongo Retail E-Commerce Platform. The In-Store Channel Optimization Commerce Suite has taken the power of the Internet to revolutionize in-store operations. iCongo's In-Store Commerce Suite now allows retailers to leverage, tie-in and integrate their store operations to their e-commerce systems and operations enabling powerful multi-channel optimization, resulting in increased in-store efficiencies and sales.

The new release utilizes handheld wireless portable devices to be used for a variety of functions such as:

This release will allow retailers to maximize their return on investment of their e commerce systems and will provide them with significant benefits not previously possible.
- Locating inventory by SKU at both the store and chain level
- Allowing for the efficient picking of SKUs at the store without the salesperson leaving the customer
- Streamlining the checkout process by allowing for quick customer checkout
- The placement of customer orders on the web for in store stock-outs.

The In-Store Commerce Suite also enables retailers to install Kiosks at the store level to be used by sales personnel and customers for obtaining product information and placing orders online. The new release also includes the most comprehensive Online Retail Survey system tied directly into the POS and e-commerce system. The Survey System allows retailers to design their own surveys and to obtain real-time detailed reporting on a wide variety of customer feedback from individual store performance, style selection, etc.
