(PRWeb) January 12, 2007 -- TRESU Production A/S in Bjert, near Kolding, Denmark, is producing a 19-colour in-line flexo printing machine for an American customer. In this connection guests are invited for an open-house arrangement where the company will demonstrate one of the largest flexo printing machines in the world. The printing machine is optimised in design and concept with special focus on productivity, flexibility and working environment. The machine is the first in a new concept which TRESU now offers to packaging producers within the segments paper, cardboard, preprint and foil. Marketing of the new printing machine will be performed in line with the other flexo printing machines which TRESU today manufactures for a wide variety of packaging producers.

Flexibility and productivity are the key words
With its 19 printing units, the machine will be one of the largest and most complex printing machines in the world. During the development of this new machine concept, the main focus emphasis was put on high production speed while maintaining the best print quality within the packaging industry. In addition to the production speed as such, there is also focus on the opportunity to make quick job rotations and on keeping material and resource waste at an absolute minimum. This is achieved by means of a number of new technological solutions such as sleeve change on anilox and plate rollers, automatic adjustment of the print and register.

The machine is configured for handling both water and solvent based inks and lacquers in addition to UV and EB. In addition it is possible to transfer large amounts of inks and lacquers to the medium at high speeds because of the powerful drying system, which can also be adjusted individually on each printing unit. Machine operation is automated to a very high extent so that the operators can focus on quality control and preparation of the next production job. All this and much more results in a machine enabling a very wide product mix so now the producer may offer a wider selection of products from one and the same machine.

Open House
TRESU will demonstrate the machine at a number of open-house arrangements 15 - 17 January 2007. Register for the open-house arrangement at: www.tresu-converting.com.
