Hoodia Chewing Gum Warnings -- Is the Gum Killing the Hoodia?

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Will the next Hoodia craze, Hoodia chewing gum, kill Hoodia? Unless Hoodia is processed correctly, Hoodia gum just won't work. The first company to have developed Hoodia gum is worried, worried that some people will buy the wrong gum.

(PRWeb) January 20, 2007 -- Dietary Formula Inc is worried, very worried.

Apart from the already familiar 'Hoodia hype', along with the mass of low grade Hoodia products on the market, some companies are now jumping on the Hoodia chewing gum bandwagon. They've spotted the advantages of offering Hoodia in a gum, a quick, easy and effective way to deliver Hoodia to the end user.

By the end of February, we will be supplying two companies offering real Hoodia chewing gums that work. The great thing is, with the manufacturing techniques we get to use, we can add any herbal ingredient, and know that it will come out at the end of the process unharmed and effective. In fact we've got a few companies looking to make some really fantastic gum products!
So why exactly is Dietary Formula Inc worried? CEO Paul Pearson explains:

"We were the very first company to bring Hoodia chewing gum out. It took us months and months to research and discover a way to put Hoodia in to a piece of gum without destroying the Hoodia. It took ages, but we finally found a Pharmaceutical company using a patented process that would allow Hoodia to be added to the gum after all the heating of the gum itself had been done. You see, putting Hoodia in the mix at the beginning of the gum manufacturing process is believed to drastically reduce its effectiveness - in fact any herb's effectiveness."

"We brought out our gum back in early 2006, the very first company to bring Hoodia Gum to the market, and now we're concerned that some copycat companies are just not having it manufactured correctly. It would be a shame to see a great idea, Hoodia gum, ruined!"

The first gum you may have already seen promoted on television, 'Chewaway Gum.

Now, the good news is that almost a year after Dietary Formula Inc brought out the World's first Hoodia chewing gum, they've managed to find another company able to manufacture gum (without heating the Hoodia!), in a more traditional 'chicklet' type shape.

Just as effective as the original gum, this new gum offers 'chewers' a different taste sensation. This new gum is in the process of being packaged up and will be available during February 2007.

"By the end of February, we will be supplying two companies offering real Hoodia chewing gums that work. The great thing is, with the manufacturing techniques we get to use, we can add any herbal ingredient, and know that it will come out at the end of the process unharmed and effective. "Hoodia is just one of the herbals we are releasing. We are focused on releasing a full range of herbal vitamins as well as a full range sugar free candy to include mints, pops and candy sticks containing diet formulas and vitamins."
